Grandparents Plus facilitates the Kinship Care Group for Professionals which is a group for social workers and others who work in kinship care.

We have over 100 members drawn from over 50 local authorities across London and the South East and it is growing fast. The Group holds quarterly meetings with high profile speakers. Meetings take place on a Chatham House rules basis to ensure that confidentiality is respected.

Kinship Care Conference - 24th November
Grandparents Plus and the Care Matters Partnership held a Kinship Care Conference on 24th November with a strong focus on improving kinship care practice.  Over 120 delegates attended and heard presentations from Dr Joseph Crumbley, Professor Elaine Farmer and other leading experts in the field.
