Grandparents Plus has worked with grandparents around England who were providing regular care to their grandchildren to produce materials to support their play with grandchildren and to provide guidance for schools and children's centres wishing to involve grandparents.

Learning with Grandparents was funded by the Basic Skills Agency (now NIACE)  and was based on earlier research by Goldsmiths College.
