Please note there is a workshop session in the afternoon facilitated by UsCreates which will provoke and challenge current approaches to kinship care and encourage creative thinking about what kinship care could look like in future.

Delegates for the afternoon session will be invited to find out more about the Relative Experience programme during lunch.

13:00     Introduction to UsCreates: Reimagining Kinship Care

UsCreates will outline the aims of the session and get attendees into the creative mindset.

13:20     UsCreates Persona Development

UsCreates will introduce each team to the persona they will be building a kinship care vision around throughout the afternoon session and to ensure they understand the challenges carers face

14:10     UsCreates Scenario Development and Discussion

Teams will look to gain clarity around what participants want (and don’t want) from a future vision of kinship care

14:55     Break

15:10     UsCreates Developing a Future Vision

Groups will look to create a high level vision for the future of kinship care

16:10     UsCreates How Do We Get There and Wrap Up

At this point all of the work will be pulled together to create a high level plan for the next 12 months
