Susha Chandrasekhar is legal counsel in the public sector, having previously worked at an international law firm, as an associate lecturer at the London School of Economics, and as a reform researcher. A law graduate of Cambridge and Oxford Universities and a management graduate of London University, Susha has lived and worked in eight countries and speaks five languages. She is therefore familiar with multicultural environments and has won awards for her diversity initiatives. She is a trustee of the Fawcett Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a full member of the Chartered Management Institute, an Associate member of the Institute of Directors and a past Chair of the Association of Women Solicitors. Susha was brought up partly in kinship care, her husband was brought up entirely in kinship care, and their son enjoys a strong bond with his grandparents.
