The State of the Nation survey is an opportunity for all kinship carers to help us develop our services and fight for improvements in support for kinship families. This year we are focusing on the time when you first became a kinship carer, because this is such a critical stage and often shapes the support that you and your family receive. We want to hear directly from you about your experiences and the improvements you would like to see.
You can help make a difference
Your voice matters. Last year over 1,100 people completed the survey - the largest survey of kinship carers ever. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Not only did the results help us get kinship care in the headlines in newspapers, TV and radio, they were also shared with MPs and other policy makers, including by kinship carers who met MPs to lobby for change. This year we want to do even more!
Everyone who completes the survey can choose to be entered into a draw to win a £50 voucher of your choice.

We're committed to working with kinship carers to fight for change. We really appreciate your time completing the survey. Thank you, and we'll share the results with you in the autumn.
