Kinship carers are at the heart of everything we do. Their lived experiences not only help us to develop services that meet their needs, but also help us fight for changes to the systems that are failing them.
Each year we survey kinship carers in our State of the Nation Survey to understand the experiences of kinship carers, across England and Wales. Our surveys tell us what kinship families look like, the challenges they face and how they are feeling.
During 2020-21 we have been also surveying kinship carers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
