#KinshipCareWeek: 5-11 October 2020
Kinship Care Week is just around the corner! It’s our chance to celebrate kinship families, raise awareness of the role of kinship carers and say a big, public THANK YOU!
This year, we will be celebrating with our kinship community, online. We will be sharing media stories about kinship care and asking kinship carers and organisations to get involved in some fun awareness-raising activities on social media. So head over to Facebook and Twitter now and make sure you are following Grandparents Plus. Please remember to use #KinshipCareWeek and we’d love kinship families to also use #ProudKinshipFamily because we are so proud of you and what you do for your children.
There are some useful resources to download at the bottom of this page – like facebook posts, posters and Kinship Care Week banners, and if you haven’t already, please join our Kinship Community to get all the latest updates.
What’s on? Here are just some of the virtual events you can get involved in during the week
