Location: London – focused on the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey & Southwark with occasional travel across the UK. Based at Grandparents Plus head office in London (Camberwell).

Salary: £27,431 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 3 days per week (21 hours) (potential to increase if additional services are commissioned if post-holder is interested. We are happy to consider job sharing and flexible working) 

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2020

Benefits: 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) and pension

Responsible to: Kinship Care Programmes Manager

We’re looking for someone committed to the work of Grandparents Plus who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable families. You’ll bring excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills, as well as be able to work on your own initiative and collaboratively with partners. You will have proven experience of working with families, particularly those in more disadvantaged circumstances.

You will deliver a service across the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey and Southwark that provides special guardians with advice, information, training and peer-to-peer support and raise awareness of the work of Grandparents Plus.
