Project Worker - Kinship Active 

Salary: £23,500 per annum (pro-rata)
Based: Middlesbrough
Hours: 3 days per week. Fixed-term until 31st August 2021.
 
The role 
We’re looking for someone committed to the work of Grandparents Plus, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of vulnerable families and increasing activity levels in children and carers in order to positively impact upon physical, cognitive and social health as part of our Kinship Active programme funded by Sport England.

You’ll bring excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills, as well as be able to work on your own initiative and collaboratively with partners. You’ll have proven experience of inspiring and motivating families to participate in physical activity, including family members with disabilities or long-term health conditions.

You’ll deliver a service across Middlesbrough, utilising one-to-one and peer support to provide kinship families with access to appropriate intergenerational physical activities alongside advice, information and training and raise awareness of the work of Grandparents Plus.

Head of Fundraising 

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000
Based: London (Camberwell)
Hours: 35 hours per week

Project Worker - London 

Salary: £27,431 per annum (pro-rata)
Based: London – focused on the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey & Southwark with occasional travel across the UK. Based at Grandparents Plus head office in London (Camberwell).
Hours: 3 days per week (21 hours) (potential to increase if additional services are commissioned if post-holder is interested. We are happy to consider job sharing and flexible working) 
 
The role

You’ll bring excellent relationship building, communication and organisational skills, as well as be able to work on your own initiative and collaboratively with partners. You will have proven experience of working with families, particularly those in more disadvantaged circumstances.

You will deliver a service across the London Boroughs of Hackney, Haringey and Southwark that provides special guardians with advice, information, training and peer-to-peer support and raise awareness of the work of Grandparents Plus.
